We are close to branching 4.11, but I think there may be value in merging the patch set for 4.11. Would it be acceptable to all if we made the new PCI lib and drvmgr conditional only for the sparc? Then we can deal with the namespace issues and resolving any other quirks in the next release series. I worry about bringing them in with potential issues in their public interfaces, but if we don't guarantee API compliance for them across releases then it is not an issue. Plus, most users who want these things currently would have problems with backwards-compat if we change some things, since they would have been using the RCC release.
