Dear all, I'm wondering how to package lesspipe for Fedora/EPEL best. Review request is here:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2417806 lesspipe itself is an indepedent development from the built-in preprocessor for less. It comes with with a rich feature set which enhances the less user experience. Features are described here: https://lesspipe.org/docs.html Unfortunately, as it uses the same concept like less' built-in preprocessor, it conflicts with its lesspipe.sh script. Therefore I just moved stuff into /usr/libexec/lesspipe in order to avoid naming conflicts. This works well, but Christian Le pointed out in the review, it might cause user trouble in some cases. How are similar cases handled in other packages? Any pointers would be very helpful and appreciated.
