Well, I mustn't have been too far off, because I eventually got it working,
though I had to change some things in my web app to get it there, a number of
issues I found when doing so, which made using server.xml, with my app in the
webapps directory (a la Tomcat 4) still a more viable option.
All-in-all, I still appreciate having an open source project like Tomcat to
work with.
