Are you planning something on top > of Clutter? > We have plans for the development of a set of "widgets" for common behaviors and interactions, but honestly, much of this is still in the thought phase with some prototyping being done but no libraries or examples yet. I know it's not much help for those who want to jump right in, but we really are trying to blaze new trails here and escape the trap of flat, 2D, rigid applications and user interactions and take advantage of HW accellerated 3D capabilities that fit into the small form factor targeted devices. Some ideas have been shared on moblin.org/playground, and I would encourage folks to explore the site, or better yet, register and start sharing your own ideas as well. In the mean time, start learning how to build clutter apps and the box2d bindings for it. Of a personal interest, since I wrote the original Moblin Theme Guide, I'd be interested in a dialog and ideas on how we might approach the problem of theming in Moblin2, or as you put it, "integrated look&feel". Today, there is not any way to "theme" clutter apps and this is a problem I've started to consider needing to be solved. It's not going to happen soon, as I'm about to head out on vacation with my family for 2 weeks, bit I'm starting to collect thoughts and ideas on how clutter could be extended, or a moblin library created, that provides for both end user and OEM/OSV customization or branding. Thanks for the good questions, keep them coming, Shane... PS: Hop on irc.freenode.net/#moblin and keep up the dialog. My nick is sabotage. _______________________________________________ dev mailing list [email protected] https://www.moblin.org/mailman/listinfo/dev
