Thanks Jason. Because it has changed so much, would migrating my code
from 2.1-SNAPSHOT to the components/tags/maven-3.0-alpha-2 release be a
good intermediate step, i.e. in anticipation of Maven 3.0?

Look at the MavenCli class as an example of embedded use. Or look at
M2Eclipse: http://svn.sonatype.org/m2eclipse/trunk/. Our primary goal
with 3.x is compatibility of the CLI between 2.x and 3.x. The
internals for embedding have changed a lot. There will be
documentation for embedders prior to the Maven 3.0 release. For the
moment you're reading the source.
