I would note in this connection that the Mozilla project as a whole does not seem to have enterprise use as a specific goal - although many enterprises happily use it. There are lots of things (such as .msi packaging) which enterprises would like which we don't do. Of course, there are some sub-groups, such as the denizens of the mozilla.community.enterprise newsgroup, who work to make this easier. The CCK meets many people's requirements, but not all - as you have noted. And it has not been updated for Firefox 3, which is unfortunate. Perhaps you might contact the maintainer to ask if this is going to happen. Contributions are welcome. I agree that this group needs to stop recommending it until that happens.
