I doubt that. Michael, I think that Europe behaves quite differently than the US in that respect. This is perhaps why web mail seems to be so popular, but other parts of the world are far more conservative. In addition to that it seems to me that specially Europeans are more conscious what privacy and security concerns whereas in the US the average user cares less about these issues. I can't prove that either, but it's the impression I've got.
