"doubling" for the thumbnails we capture using this service, yes. We
don't need to use this service to capture _all_ thumbnails - it was
primarily designed to address requirement a) from Drew's original post
(with some potential responsiveness benefits from d) being somewhat
incidental).

This certainly seems worth exploring, but wouldn't address the use
case of what to do about pages that contain sensitive information.
