  wifi doesnt properly turn off

Status in gnome-control-center package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  when i try to turn wifi off from settings, it doesnt work right and it doesnt 
turn off.
  but when i try turning it off from the top-right drop down menu it works as 
it should.
