None of the workarounds work
cannot create user data directory: /home/ /snap/ /123: Not a directory
Snap is truly detrimental to Linux. Everything is implemented in an
insane way leading to unpatchable bugs like this that persist for
decades

Bug description:
Users with home directories in /home/$USER can run snap application,
but users in /home/users/$USER can't.
