Officially we only switched Nvidia systems over to Wayland in Ubuntu
24.10. There was a lot to fix and 24.04 will probably never have enough
of those fixes. But all systems including Nvidia now default to Wayland
in 24.10 and 25.04. And the list of known bugs is tiny:

Also Xorg itself probably isn't ever going away. Only the option to run
GNOME on top of Xorg.

Anyway, this is all off-topic here. If you have any specific issues then
please log new bugs about them and add tag 'wayland-blocker'. So far

  Issue description:
  When the gnome-initial-setup launched, if user changes the scale 200 -> 400 
or 100 -> 200.
  There is some garbage on the edge of the window.

  The issue is not seen if we login in wayland session.
