I plan on adopting the ill maintained screen package. It currently has ~50 open bugs, many of which are fixed by the new upstream version (3.9.8) which has been out since September of 2000. I emailed the maintainer about adopting the package on Feb 21st and have not received a reply. I am currently not a Debian developer, but Eric Gillespie, Jr. <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> has agreed to advocate and sponsor me.
