This doesn't work for the "export to PDF" option as the PDF button/options doesn't go through the print dialog. I found out that this is actually a very well known bug. (Although there is some debate on whether it's a feature or a bug.) http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=3910 As far as I can see the issue will not be resolved until at least OOo 2.0.
