Hi everyone, I've googled before for this problem and I can't find the solution. When I'm writing proposals for clients I like to use two page styles: First Page Default (the rest of the document) But when I print the document an extra page is inserted between First Page and Default. The page numbering is correct.
As far as I can tell this is because Open Office wants all pages to be either Left or Right. First Page is, by default, a "Left Page" and Default, by default, starts with another "Left Page" -- which leaves a blank "Right Page" between the two. If I modify the First Page style to be "Right Only" then my document *starts* with a blank page and flows correctly. But I still have a blank page. I've tried any number of combinations of Left/Right/Mirrored pages and I just can't seem to get rid of that extra page at the beginning. I've tried: 013 - I have a blank page in my word processing document. All of my content seems to fit on the previous page. How do I get rid of this extra page? http://documentation.openoffice.org/user_faq/word_processing/013.html but it doesn't solve my problem. I've also tried looking at the printer settings, but found nothing useful there either. Advice on how to deal with this problem would be much appreciated! emma :) -- Emma Jane Hogbin [[ 416 417 2868 ][ www.xtrinsic.com ]] -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
