OK, I've decided to just take things into my own hands. Those, I'm not sure what the proper way to do this is, manually ad the lists address to the to or CC field, for this email, it'll be the CC field, so some guideance perhaps someone who has the ability to reply to the list can tell me what the to and cc and other fields SHOULD look like but just for a test, I'm manually adding in the address because my mail app won't do it for me.

As each mail receiving site applies its own anti-spam measures, we aren't able to tell exactly why your inbox provider thinks that Debian list mail may be spam. I can speculate, but it isn't useful as I'd just be guessing and anyway it would not be actionable for you. For anything that is actionable, You may need to consult their documentation or customer support in order to find out more information. It is possible that if you look at the full headers of the email as it is in your inbox, that your inbox provider may have inserted diagnostic headers that explain more about their decision. But, they may not have done so. Even if they have, there is no standard for how this would appear so we can't easily tell you what to look for. If you are able to get the full headers of an email that ended up in your spam folder, by all means post them here in case we can help, but be prepared for it to not help much. There may be ways to influence your inbox provider's decisions. Again, this is something you are going to have to look into. Sometimes there is some sort of "this is not spam" button. Sometimes simply the act of moving the email from the spam folder to the inbox or another folder is enough to "teach" the system, that the sender is genuine. As you can see, there are no easy answers here which is why a lot of people just tend to give up. Thanks, Andy -- https://bitfolk.com/ -- No-nonsense VPS hosting
