It looks like the last maintainer upload for auto-complete was back in 2012 for version 1.3.1-2[1]. Anything happened after that was all NMUs. However, as Emacs has company built-in, I'd suggest migrating from auto-complete to that, as practically most completion related packages work well with company nowadays, and you don't have to deal with another 3rd party package. As for markdown-toc, it was removed from testing because of [6].
