I got the same issue with Sid and any of the 3.10 kernels.
I even tried to compile a new kernel from upstream but with the same result: 
keyboard is unusable.
My problem happens at the very beginning, as I have an encrypted system.
After a bit of debugging it seems as the USB module is not able to recognise my 
keyboard.
I checked both initramfs images but with no differences.
As soon as I have a bit of time I'll dig a bit more.
