I was thinking the other day that when dpkg discovers a conffile has been changed, it should display at least some of the differences before asking the sysadmin what to do. Something like: diff /etc/foo.conf /etc/foo.conf.dpkg-dist | head -18 (or however much will fit on the screen). Would this be difficult to add? - Jim Van Zandt -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
