I forwarded the bug to the upstream bugtracker. They guess, that you
enable/disable a compositing manager, which may trigger the bug.

They also asked to test it with the latest SVN snapshot, so I made a
package for you [0]. You can use the following sha256sum to verify
you downloaded the correct package:
