No, the skype icon is preserved in the tray across tint2 restarts. The triggering event for icon disappearance is something else (unknown). Even when multiple instances of skype are running, all its icons are preserved across tint2 restarts. But when the problem (somehow) occurs, the skype icon is _never_ shown again (no matter how many/new instances are run). Skype is the only program I use that manifests this problem. The reasons for me to think the problem might be tint2 related is the fact that only a complete X session termination solves the issue (until it occurs again) and also that the problem was not present with gnome-panel notification area. The version of Xorg I run is all from debian squeeze (stable). -- Jan Jansky -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
