Erm, wait. Let me be sure I've got this straight... > diff -u vpb-driver-4.2.49/debian/changelog vpb-driver-4.2.49/debian/changelog > --- vpb-driver-4.2.49/debian/changelog > +++ vpb-driver-4.2.49/debian/changelog > @@ -1,3 +1,10 @@ > +vpb-driver (4.2.49-1.1) testing-proposed-updates; urgency=low > + > + * Non-maintainer upload. > + * Fix encoding of Czech debconf translation. > + > + -- Christian Perrier <bubu...@debian.org> Wed, 12 Jan 2011 07:44:42 +0100 So you prepared this patch 3 or 4 days ago, for a problem you've known about for nearly a week, but didn't bother telling me about it until *after* you'd uploaded the package to t-p-u today? And currently, the state of deep freeze we are in means translation updates supposedly aren't eligible for unblock requests anymore anyhow? So what exactly does this NMU achieve, beside a glaring lack of communication and proper process, and inventing the stunning new concept of -3 day NMUs? <imagine a string of harsh expletives and a broomstick here> Please don't ever do this again without talking to me first. Surprises like this aren't helpful, and ignore the fact there may be^W^W are other patches which should be considered for a stable update under more relaxed rules than the current deep freeze state.
