Package: mplayer Version: 1:1.0.rc2svn20091021-0.0 Severity: important I did a dist-upgrade to Debian Squeeze on November 2.
After that, Mplayer was unable to play WMA files. These WMA files were also recorded from Internet radio using Mplayer. These same files played well before with Mplayer. I still can play MP3 files, I did not try other formats. As an example, I uploaded the file which show erroneous behaviour: http://pdis.rnw.nl/~hansl/links/mp_orf17.wma There is no sound but some crackling noise. The play time display seems to be incorrect as well. jlinkels When I play this file, this is the output of Mplayer: Can't open joystick device /dev/input/js0: No such file or directory Can't init input joystick mplayer: could not connect to socket mplayer: No such file or directory Failed to open LIRC support. You will not be able to use your remote control. Playing mp_orf17.wma. ASF file format detected.
