Package: spamass-milter Version: 0.3.1-8 Severity: important
Hello, After upgrading spamass-milter to 'testing' (0.3.1-8) from stable(etch) I was getting the following errors: Feb 14 02:11:59 hostname sendmail[23962]: NOQUEUE: SYSERR(spamass-milter): can not chdir(/var/spool/mqueue/): Permission denied and the username passed to spamd was always spamass-milter (recipient/account expansion was not working correctlty). I added the new lines to the sendmail.mc file and rebuild sendmail.cf, but was still getting the errors. Then, I removed the -x flag from /etc/default/spamass-milter and things are working correctly. It seems that the new sendmail.mc lines: define(`confMILTER_MACROS_CONNECT',`t, b, j, _, {daemon_name}, {if_name}, {if_addr}')dnl define(`confMILTER_MACROS_HELO',`s, {tls_version}, {cipher}, {cipher_bits}, {cert_subject}, {cert_issuer}')dnl define(`confMILTER_MACROS_ENVRCPT',`b, i, j, r, v, Z, _')dnl make the -x flag work incorrectly. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (990, 'stable'), (300, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-1-686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages spamass-milter depends on: ii adduser 3.102 Add and remove users and groups ii libc6 2.7-18 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgcc1 1:4.3.2-1.1 GCC support library ii libmilter1.0.1 8.14.3-5 Sendmail Mail Filter API (Milter) ii libstdc++6 4.3.2-1.1 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii spamc 3.2.5-2 Client for SpamAssassin spam filte Versions of packages spamass-milter recommends: ii sendmail 8.14.3-5 powerful, efficient, and scalable ii spamassassin 3.2.5-2 Perl-based spam filter using text -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
