Package: pcmcia-cs Version: 3.2.8-9 Severity: normal
I'm not sure if this is the correct section for this report but, I'm using latest debian etch on a PowerBook G4 with a PCI1211 cardbus and pcmcia cards no longer work for me. I get no responce when card is inserted and nothing from pccardctl list etc... I get errors such as: cardmgr[2868]: could not adjust resource: IO ports 0x1000-0x10ff: Input/output error cardmgr[2868]: could not adjust resource: IO ports 0x1400-0x14ff: Input/output error cardmgr[2868]: could not adjust resource: memory 0x80100000-0x80ffffff: Input/output error I've tried some other ports/memory but I'm not sure what to do? -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: powerpc (ppc) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-6-powerpc Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages pcmcia-cs depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.11etch2 Debian configuration management sy ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-13etch7 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii lsb-base 3.1-23.2etch1 Linux Standard Base 3.1 init scrip ii module-init-tools 3.3-pre4-2 tools for managing Linux kernel mo ii pcmciautils 014-3 PCMCIA utilities for Linux 2.6 ii psmisc 22.3-1 Utilities that use the proc filesy Versions of packages pcmcia-cs recommends: ii udev 0.105-4 /dev/ and hotplug management daemo -- debconf information: pcmcia-cs/run_probe: true pcmcia-cs/start_pcmcia: true -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
