You can't run pcmcia-cs on such a new kernel. You should be running udev with pcmciautils. I'm surprised that cardmgr is even started when running the etch kernel - did you start it manually? > > -- System Information: > Debian Release: 4.0 > APT prefers stable > APT policy: (500, 'stable') > Architecture: powerpc (ppc) > Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash > Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-6-powerpc > Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) > > Versions of packages pcmcia-cs depends on: > ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.11etch2 Debian configuration management > sy > ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-13etch7 GNU C Library: Shared libraries > ii lsb-base 3.1-23.2etch1 Linux Standard Base 3.1 init > scrip > ii module-init-tools 3.3-pre4-2 tools for managing Linux kernel > mo > ii pcmciautils 014-3 PCMCIA utilities for Linux 2.6 > ii psmisc 22.3-1 Utilities that use the proc > filesy > > Versions of packages pcmcia-cs recommends: > ii udev 0.105-4 /dev/ and hotplug management > daemo > > -- debconf information: > pcmcia-cs/run_probe: true > pcmcia-cs/start_pcmcia: true > > -- Pelle -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
