I don't even know what the missing XInputExtension does or if it's relevant to the problem, after all the log entry is only tagged "warning". > For the problem with gnome-settings I must ask you to report that > on the specific package instead. Please file a bug on the packages > that you have problems with. I did. Twice. See the links in the original report. > I can not handle troubleshooting of all software that have problem > to run within vnc. That is just a too big task. This is what I call "the blame game" :-) You say it isn't vnc's fault because other stuff works, the Gnome maintainers seem to think it isn't on their side either because it works on xorg. Both of you are right, of course, but that way a severe regression will stay unfixed indefinitely. I'd hoped this would be important enough to warrant some troubleshooting because: - Gnome isn't just a random piece of software - it did work fine at one point - there's at least one other Debian user with this problem, see: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=481191 Regards, C. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
