Hi

Ok, then I know.

In this case I can see the bug report as a wish to support
XInputExtension, which is currently not supported in VNC. That
is a wishlist bug.

For the problem with gnome-settings I must ask you to report that
on the specific package instead. Please file a bug on the packages
that you have problems with. It is up to that package maintainer to
tell whether the problem is because of the fact that it can not
handle some environment problem, like missing extension, vnc or other.
It may be a wishlist bug at a later stage but for now it looks like
"normal" severity.

I can not handle troubleshooting of all software that have problem
to run within vnc. That is just a too big task.

If you want I can make a wishlist bug of this bug report to allow
XInputExtension support, or simply close it. It is up to you.

Best regards,

// Ola
