Hm, yes, there's something strange. although I get it more the other
way round:
If I set acroread in ~/.mailcap and /usr/bin/see in JabRef's
Options/Preferences/External programs/Manage external file types/pdf
I get:
* Tools/Open file: a PDF in acroread
* right click on the line/open PDF: nothing
* right click on the PDF icon/file name: acroread

Hm? That was the second test run, during the first I sometimes got
xpdf ...

Ok, third test:
* Tools/Open file: nothing
* right click on the line/open PDF: nothing
* right click on the PDF icon/file name: acroread

More like your results.

I'm BCC'ing upstream, maybe they can shed some light on this issue.

Cheers,
gregor
