Package: mplayer Version: 1.0~rc2-10 Severity: normal Hi,
I'm using mplayer on my laptop under sid. This laptop is a centrino. Usually I compile my kernel myself. When I have compiled the last kernel 2.6.25 and boot on it, I have noticed that mplayer randomly crashes. So I have thought that I have done a mistake in the config. Yesterday 2.6.25 is arrived under sid. So I have installed the 486 version and boot on it. THe problem is still there : I have for example a flash file (it appears with all video formats I have tested). When I click on it mplayer crashes or not with the common error : MPlayer crashed by bad usage of CPU/FPU/RAM What can I do to give you more infos ? here is the output of gmplayer -v (it doesn't appears with mplayer or not often...) : MPlayer 1.0rc2-4.2.3-DFSG-free (C) 2000-2007 MPlayer Team CPU: Intel(R) Pentium(R) M processor 1.80GHz (Family: 6, Model: 13, Stepping: 6) CPUflags: MMX: 1 MMX2: 1 3DNow: 0 3DNow2: 0 SSE: 1 SSE2: 1 Compiled with runtime CPU detection.
