I was suspecting this. When I tried to debug the crash I was seeing (that was notenetheless different from what you were seeing ), I tried to recompile the files where the crash was occuring with '-O2 -g' instead of '-O4' .. and the crash disappeared! so it seems that the code generated with 'gcc -O4' (4.2 or 4.3) is somewhat incompatible with more recent kernels (why? beats me) > Do you still want a backtrace ? if you ever see it crashing ... yes :-) a. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
