I haven't reviewed Adam patch though. If it implements statically
experimental > unstable it is not corresponding to such an
interpretation.
It uses Devscripts::Versort::versort, which is largely a wrapper around
"dpkg --compare-versions" (and the same function used by uscan to decide
which version of a package it's found is "most recent). As such, it will
always select the package with the highest version number.
