Well, I personally don't _love_ dpatch but I strongly prefer to have
patches against *upstream* sources seperated from original upstream
sources.

Anyway, it's up to you and if you don't feel comfortable with dpatch
(or alike) it's fine for me of course. :)

But I think we should cleanup debian/rules and check out the
modifications of:

star/star.1
star/star_fat.c
conf/configure
conf/configure.in

anyway (as suggested by Jörg regarding star_fat.c).
