Hi,
We are currently attempting to remove the antiquated libqt3-compat-headers from
the archive.
Here is a patch to build cgal without libqt3-compat-headers.
thanks for the patch. But shouldn't qarray.h replaced by qmemarray.h
instead of qpointarray.h?
Is there a particular reason for this attempt (rather than just get rid
of one package)? What about software not packaged for Debian that needs
these headers? Was there a discussion on some mailing list?
BTW how did you find the buggy packages? Did you build them with a fake
(empty) qt3-compat-headers package? Just asking because there are some
more occurences in the demos (not compiled, just shipped as source in
the libcgal-demo package).

It worked with qpointarray so I didn't try qmemarray. I assume if I had
used the wrong one I would get undefined references?
I was asked to look in to this on #debian-qa by Sune Vuorela. Those
headers are ooold qt 1.x, 2.x compatibility stuff so anything not
package currently really should be fixed to use qt3/qt4 headers.
Right now it was just a matter of looking at any packages that depend or
build-depend on libqt3-compat-headers.
Thanks,
