That's all that you need to know to send mail to the voting system. No user has ever any need to know about devotee, really -- all you have to do is to be able to send email. You know, bog standard email. That has been true since day one. When your mailer sent in standard email, voting worked. Devotee has always been coded to accept standards conformant email --- nothing changed there. If you want documentation of how to send standard email, hmm, there are gazillions of sites on the 'net.
