Ok i'll take this in upstream as a bug of the sort that BMPx should inform you maybe additionally if _no_ sound system/audio system at all is available, but that in itself doesn't constitute an error on BMPx's side, since there actually seems to be no audio system available.
In case other apps using ALSA still work, but BMPx doesn't find any ALSA cards/devices, then it's probably still a BMPx bug, can you please check whether other audio apps are working/can play back sound? On 12/13/06, Emil Nowak <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
