That is indeed the only drawback. And I think we can readily ignore that, even if some people don't understand that integrating a TeX distribution into a Linux distribution requires some changes. BTW, I think the changelog entry is not quite correct. This bug is not specific to systems with both tetex and texlive packages installed. Even on a pure tetex or pure texlive system currently no documentation in TEXMFDIST is found. This might even warrant a medium urgency. cheerio ralf
