Anton, i think it's not making sense, but try be more polite.
The most funny thing about standards is that there are meny to choose from, even for very narrow tech. or software field. Even zoo of KOI encodings shows that. Thus, in case of cyrillic fonts for (text) console, i think *best practice* is in case. Man pages, info manuals are using old `,' as single quotes, and nobody going to change that. groff in utf-8 console will, but this is very special case. So, my position and very polite ask for you, is to change, at least KOI8-R, or not UNICODE fonts to that what they was before.
