I have two XFCE installations here, one with Debian and one with Arch (which hasn't changed the polkit question). I even remember Simon suggesting this package, and its repository has actually been abandoned for some time (in Arch Linux is available in AUR). But in my testing, it worked fine; XFCE still has a working polkit; all the user would need to do is enable it, and I don't see any sense of urgency in including this package in testing (which reinforces that, in my opinion, it's an optional package). -- Cheers, Leandro Cunha
