That wouldn't cause this to cease to be a bug in gtkhtml3.6, it would just mean that the bug in gtkhtml3.6 no longer affects particular packages which don't depend on it. Anyway, gtk-sharp2 in testing still depends on gtkhtml3.6, as does gtk-sharp (libgnome-cil) on arm (because it's out of date). I think the right fix is to drop gtkhtml3.6 in favor of gtkhtml3.8, but this is not possible yet due to the reverse dependencies.
