I'd love to, but starting gnome-session inside a failsafe xterm though gdb doesn't solve the fact that X gets killed as soon as whatever messes with the keyboard wreaks havoc. Anyhow, here's an interesting development: leaving xkb-data installed while downgrading libxklavier10 to 2.2-1 works, so it appears that the real problem is xklavier uploads that followed 2.2-1. -- Martin-Éric Racine http://q-funk.iki.fi
