Nope, I'm on testing and updated from 3.0.1-11 to 3.0.1-12 this morning,
and that fixed it for me. But because the issue was introduced due to
ghostscript 9.54 on testing.
Stable seems to use ghostscript 9.53, which is likely not affected by this.

So if the question is if this is required to be backported to stable:
Only if stable updates to ghostscript to 9.54.
But it won't hurt either, it's just a noop anyway and will get rid of
the deprecated warning mentioned by the OP.
