No, that won't help. strace -ff linphone > linphone.log 2>&1 and then have a look at linphone.log I have spun up a Testing VM with XFCE4 and my linphone-desktop works fine. I have no idea what might be missing in your case. Maybe someone else will have an idea. I'm going to clone this bug to linphone-desktop. Bernhard
