upstream is active and it looks like there's enough interest in this
package, so anyone of you in CC can just go ahead and do a QA upload
(setting the QA team as maintainer) for the new upstream release or,
for bonus points, adopt it under the Debian Python Modules Team.
I am not a Debian developper so I cannot upload myself without
sponsoring/mentor.
Eventually, my objective is to enhance the user experience on the
Librem 5 smartphone from Purism by adding new packages into Debian that
are relevant (CCing Guido Gunther regarding this).
So far, this is a bit of a domino game, which is fine: I wish to add
gnome-passwordsafe Python software into Debian, but it depends on
pykeepass.
In turn, pykeepass depends on construct >= 2.10, thus my interest in
this bug report :)
It is fine for me to package an updated version of python3-construct.
Any advise on the best way forward are most welcome (mentors ML, anyone
here interested to provide support, ...).
Best regards,
