AFAICS unar doesn't have any GUI libraries as dependencies. Your nvidious issue is probably unrelated to unar and I guess it's triggered by some apt pinning / mixing unstable and experimental (gcc-8 is available only in experimental). > OK it seems unar also has a graphical interface.
