Would you answer just one question today: which of these do
you prefer?

  * XML
  * JSON
  * RFC 3986/3987 (URI percent notation)
  * Some other style

I ask because I am working on a patch to let the
user --convert-links separately, without downloading.  The
patch will probably require some data serialization.

If you have no preference, then RFC 3986/3987 is probably
closest to what wget(1) already does, so I might choose that;
but really I have no preference of my own.  Since it's your
package, you can choose.
