Update: problem disappeared after cold boot. Additional information gained from experiment:
devtmpfs does not create /dev/sr? nodes on this system. udevd does once started. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [email protected]
