Hello Guillem Jover! Wrote a long mail, scrapped it for this summary:
If you can be involved only partially in the upstream procedure that would be really great. Much improvement over now when I, who knows basically nothing about kfreebsd, discusses kfreebsd issues with upstream, who knows about as much as me about it. We recently came to the conclusion that we need someone who knows something about kfreebsd to get involved. Work does not magically happen, as I'm sure you're aware. Anyone holding their breath waiting for me to do (further) kfreebsd work should prepare themselves for dissapointment. Please talk to hurd people how they manage to do such a great job in what I imagine to be a similar resource situation to kfreebsd. Thanks for your previous, and hopefully future, efforts. I was mistaken when I thought I remembered your name from the people who did not even bother replying to my mails asking for them to sign off on their kfreebsd patches, so I could forward them upstream for them. (Fortunately upstream could be convinced to bend their own rules. Something I've yet to experience Debian doing over legal matters.)
