But I have added this already, shouldn't it be 
        mv_conffile
instead of rm_conffile and adding a new? Otherwise changes in the
conffile might get lost?

I mean, I am fine with this procedure and requiring admins to carry over
changes manually, as the probability of having a changes in this file
is *rather* low.

I just wanted to ask. The current way is for sure easier ;-)
