Let's see how the log looks like when the cron job runs in the morning. :) Btw, Michael, I guess that my initial bug report can be solved in two ways: 1) either make everything configurable via APT options e.g. in /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/50unattended-upgrades or, 2) document what the static settings are, so that people know what to expect.
