When you say “the timeout of 10 seconds doesn't work”, what does that
mean specifically? Note that the timout specified via timeout= is for
the password prompt, not for the device. When looking at the code in
src/cryptsetup/cryptsetup.c and cryptsetup-generator.c, I don’t think
it’s getting ignored.
